We were thrilled to present a curated collection of Christmas decor to inspire the transformation of Zagame’s house, Melbourne, for Christmas 2025—across both its interior and exterior landscapes. The Brief was to make a big impact visually for both inside and outside of the hotel – so that all visitors and those driving by, nwe that the hotel was in the Festive spirit.

Interior Inspiration – A Festive Story at Every Turn
For Zagame’s interiors, we envisioned a journey through both the hotel and Lord Lygon bar that would surprise, delight, and immerse guests in the spirit of the season. This included:
- Make an entrance. Seting the tone from the moment guests arrived with entrance greenery from both Lygon street and the internal courtyard. Lit up for a Christmas glow
- A colourful frame. layered greenery adorned with glossy red baubles along window frames and cupboards and reception.
- A blooming Christmas. For a fresh twist, artificual spruce and pine garlands and wreaths, mimicing the winter Christamas we all dream of—bringing colour, texture, and elegance into the festive setting.
- A custom fireplace setting – creating a fireplace frame to the ceiling in the brand’s teal. The fireplace surround created a focal point for the room and set the tone for the whole decor setting.
- A nod to nostalgia. Embrace the warmth of tradition with a traaditaional Christmas tree in warm lights and vintage ornaments, classic red, and gifts under the tree
Exterior Inspiration – A Festive Story at Every Turn
These bold exterior concepts are designed to elevate Zagame’s presence during the festive season, turning heads and creating an experience that begins before guests even step through the door. The decor included
- An entrance frame above every door and entrance to the hotel, from Lygon street to internal hotel and bar entrances
- Giant red bow lit with greenery panels above the main street entrance – to be seen by all passerbys on Lygon street
- Internal indow framing lit up so that it could be seen by visitors inside the hotel and passerbys down the street.
Success
The feedback to the hotel from visitors and staff alike was that it was wonderful to see a hotel adorned in such beautiful decor and that they would be back next Chrsitmas just to see the Christmas decorations. The hotel socials saw a large increase in participation and comments as the Zagames community got into the Christmas spirit. We cant wait to see what we can create for 2026.
