For Christmas 2025, The Festive Store delivered a coordinated commercial Monochrome Red Christmas display across the Spring Place precinct in Melbourne CBD, bringing festive colour and warmth to 271 Spring Street, 2 Lonsdale Street, 50 Lonsdale Street and Madame Brussels Lane. Designed to connect multiple buildings with a consistent visual identity, the installation combined contemporary statement pieces with timeless Christmas styling to create an engaging experience for office workers, visitors and the wider public.
The centrepiece of the precinct was a series of impressive commercial Christmas trees, beautifully illuminated with warm white fairy lights and finished with oversized, satin red bows that cascaded dramatically through the foliage. Accented with reflective red baubles and crowned with illuminated LED star toppers, these towering displays created memorable focal points within the expansive lobby spaces while complementing the modern architecture. Large oversize open giftboxes at the base of each tree allowed for the collection of Christmas gifts for charity – a perfect activation for the corporate display
Our favourite statement was the custom oversize bauble arch, reaching over the garden display. Adding in icicle lighting the display with large acrylic red stars brought a fun canopy to a quiet dwell zone in the busy city precinct
Throughout the precinct, oversized glossy red bauble installations introduced playful moments at ground level, creating striking photo opportunities and adding vibrant colour to entrances and shared spaces. Outside in Madame Brussels Lane, LED star shapes framed key laneways and welcomed visitors into the precinct, extending the festive atmosphere beyond the building foyers and into the surrounding laneways.
