RETAIL CHRISTMAS WINDOWS ACTIVATION NUTCRACKER STORY MELBOURNE

With all social festivities cancelled in 2020, there was a need to find new ways to bring customers to specific retail precincts.  Maling road asked for a window display which brought the whole area together, retailers, services and offices together.  So the Nutcracker walking tale was born.

The Nutcracker tale tells the story of  “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. ” loosely based on the E.T.A. Hoffmann fantasy story, through individual storyboards and small props and scenes in traders windows.

The 11 traders were spread evenly along the strip and were guided through the trail with floor decals.  The highlight of the display was the 16ft Cone tree decorated in Nutcrackers and signage.  It was featured on Chanel 9 news and throughout social media.

Lighting was included for all vendors and the tree.
