Halloween @ Gisborne Village Shopping Centre

Halloween display brought the spooky.

Piles of pumpkins set the scene, leading customers to the purple, haunted castle media wall. A perfect place to take a selfie, if you could get past the huge jack-o’-lantern scarecrow! Looming over the visitors as they entered, it brought a creepy cuteness to the display.

Along the white picket fence hung signs of warning, as well as other tiny details, like 2D ghosts and bats. Looking through the fence, visitors could see some rather stylish ombre skeletons peering at them, from their comfortable positions on a park bench.

This Halloween display created a perfect backdrop for the tailored children’s program on All Hallows Eve. The shopping centre activation program included

  • a bespoke trick-or-treating activation with local retailers, creating a sense of community in the centre,
  • Witch hosts handing out treats for those who completed the activation,
  • spooky cookie decorating to add to children’s buckets of loot, and
  • face painting for all children to help get their costumes ready

Our featured Halloween display included:
