Christmas trends 2024

The Commercial Christmas trends 2024 are showing a move to the bolder and stronger Christmas Decorating Themes as our Melbourne Coporate and community clients seek a point of difference for their Commercial Christmas Displays.

The 2024 Christmas Decorating Trends are presented by The Festive Store based upon what our Melbourne Commercial  Clients are requesting and what we are installing for  the 2024 Christmas Season.

Our clients requested the traditional, modern, trendy and quirky Christmas themes for their decorations and Christmas tree rentals. Trends for Christmas are always elvolving and this season is as always unpredictable. We love that each year our clients trust us with creating something beautiful that suits them, bespoke and fabulous.

Our 2024 preview of trends ongoing into 2025

Red Christmas Trend

Yes it is traditional and yes it has been around for a very long time but it is really getting a revamp in monochrome, textures and ribbon. It is a great way to make a bold statement with your decor which will appeal to everybody. Try it out on a wreath or centrepieces or go all out with your Christmas tree.

Golden Metals

Gold, copper and champagne give this theme a warm Christmas glow.

A modern twist on traditional Christmas colours, the copper colouring together with a mix of textures bring this theme to life and a feeling of richness. A beautiful backdrop to any room this theme suits large spaces with a mix of stone and leather surfaces.

Tinsel

This old decoration has come back with a vengeance in 2024. Tinsel curtains, tinsel garland and of course tinsel shred on the tree – tiny slivers of glistening metallic tinsel thrown over the tree to capture the tree lights sparkle.

Pink

Pink in all shades has been everywhere in 2024. And who knew how versatile it could be. Bold hot pink mixed with disco balls, or soft baby pink in bloom mixed with natural eucalyptus leaves and mint. It was everywhere and we loved it. And it does suit the office, retail centre or home – we promise.

Candy stripe and spot red and white Christmas decorations

Candy

Candy has made a major comeback in 2024, not that it went very far from our minds. But it was great to see Commercial Christmas Clients embraced this beautiful fun Christmas decor theme across the board. And we proved that it doesn’t have to be all red and white stripe, with a mix of colours and shades definitely make this theme pop.
